CULTURAL COLLUMN
My name is Christian Walters and I am currently a sophomore at Robert Morris University where I am majoring in Political Science with a minor in Biology. I come from Erie, PA which is about 2 hours away from campus. I love watching and playing sports, and have played hockey since the first grade. I played for the University's Club Hockey team last year, however this year I am trying my hand at rugby. I am a proud brother of Delta Tau Delta and am actively involved in a few organizations on campus. I have two beautiful dogs named Guinness and Bentley and I love to watch Netflix and spend time with my friends and family in my free time!
My name is George Ashmore and I am currently a sophomore at Robert Morris University. I am currently going for a dual major in Accounting and Financial Planning. I am a full-time Floor Supervisor and Hiring Manager for the Bridgeville McDonald's. I am also a brother of the Delta Psi chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma and serve as the Director of Finance and Operations. I come from the small town of Houston, PA where everybody seems to know me even though I don't know them. I love spending time with my friends and family, making them laugh as much as possible. I also enjoying working on and fixing cars in my free time.

My name is Zachary Somma and I am a Sophomore History major at Robert Morris University. I am the head Arts & Entertainment editor for Sentry Media and also the treasurer for the Sports Analytics Club here on campus. In my spare time, I play video games and am also an avid collector of many things, including hats, vinyl records, and trading cards. I come from McKees Rocks which is only 30 minutes from campus about, where I live with my parents and my sister.
My name is Braeden Harbison and I am a junior at Robert Morris University. I am majoring in communications. I'm from Shaler, PA which is about 40 minutes away from campus. I have played ice hockey since I was three years old and currently play for Robert Morris's D1 club hockey team. I enjoy going to the gym and working out and watching action movies. I grew up as an only child and was raised by my mom and dad, with my dad being a retired Marine and my mom who works for a law firm. Having a father who served in the military brings on a lot of history lessons from him and watching a good amount of war flicks. Learning about different cultures has always been interesting to me to see how similar or different my culture is compared to others.
